We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 2026 International Society for Zinc Biology (ISZB) Conference Abstract submissions are now open for oral and poster presentations. We welcome contributions from all career stages and disciplines, for oral and poster presentations on all aspects of zinc biology, including (but not limited to):
- Zinc signaling and homeostasis
- Zinc transporters, metallothioneins, or sensors
- Zinc in immunology, inflammation, and infection
- Zinc in human health, disease, and nutrition
- Zinc neurobiology or cardiovascular biology
- Structural, functional and computational studies of zinc proteins
- Zinc imaging, biosensors, and omics technologies
- Zinc in development, aging, and reproduction
- Zinc in agriculture, food systems, and One Health perspectives
- Zinc in genetics and epigenetics
- Zinc in host/pathogen dynamics
- Translational/clinical research
Deadline for Abstract Submission is Dec 15, 2025
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- Word limit: [600 words]
- No figures allowed
- No references needed
- Indicate preference for oral or poster presentation
- Early career researchers encouraged to apply
Presenters must have 2026 ISZB membership dues paid prior to abstract acceptance https://www.zinc-net.com/ISZB.html#membership
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and notices of acceptance into an Oral Symposium or Poster Session will be sent by Jan 15, 2026. Payment of the ISZB-specific registration fee via the meeting website https://cbtox.com.br is required before abstracts are published. The early-bird registration fees are $275USD (trainees) and $550USD (everyone else) and will go up to $325 and $650 USD, respectively, after January 31, 2026.
